A Modern Tea The goal is to heighten the awareness of cardiovascular disease for the community of women in Connecticut. A Modern Tea coincides with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Day, which is celebrated every February. A Modern Tea is not your typical tea party; however, it's an afternoon tea that aims to delight the five senses. Invitees include doctors, health care providers and community leaders to carry the message of heart awareness to their respective audiences. By featuring the various elements that can contribute to healthy lifestyles— thus healthy hearts; we are able to convince our participants that informing women about heart disease and its triggers are crucial to the health of our communities.
	CHNCT Foundation Golf Classic Annual CHNCT Foundation Golf Classic at the TPC River Highlands - Home of the Travelers Championship, a PGA Tour Event. This is one of the Foundation's key fundraising events of the year. Various members of the healthcare delivery system in Connecticut come out to network during what will no doubt be a great day on a true championship golf course in support of an organization whose goals are directly related to improving healthcare for those who need help the most, right here in your local community.
